Red Envelope Review
The Perfect Gift for the Hard To Shop For Husband
This little piggy went to the market.
Just kidding.
This little piggy came from Red Envelope and so did the cutting board it landed on!
Red Envelope is an online company that specializes in unique and personalized gifts. When they asked me to review one of these gifts I couldn't wait to start browsing through their website!
I was so excited because we're moving soon to a new place with new walls and new spaces to decorate. Red Envelope has a ton of personalized items and wall art that I was swooning over. I honestly was just about to choose something I liked for myself and then I thought about maybe taking a look at ideas for what to get a husband who's hard to shop for.
This is the thing...it's not fun shopping for my husband. He wants tools. (Yawn.) Or a gift card for tools and car parts. (Boring.)
Our anniversary is coming up in April and I wanted to get some ideas. I have to be honest. I wasn't sure I'd find anything for my type of husband. He's a hard worker! He doesn't wear cuff links. He'd rather be in the garage working on a project car than out playing golf any day.
But, he does love to cook.
So as soon as I saw the cutting board, I knew it would be perfect!
But what sealed the deal was that I could customize it.
Not only was it a good quality cutting board, but what set it apart from any old cutting board was that the middle is personalized and engraved with whatever I choose.
I chose this little piggy.
Okay, so my husband's name is Manny and he really loves bacon. Hence, the little piggy. (Sorry, vegetarians.) Our last name starts with a Q so there is a Q in the middle of the pig.
Rather than give this as an anniversary present, I thought it was perfect for a "We're Moving to a New House" present. Does that exist? It does now.
I didn't tell him I ordered it for him so I surprised him on Friday with it when he came home from work. He loved it!
He loved it so much, it inspired him to make these babies.
Bacon wrapped jalapenos, of course. What did you expect?
It was seriously the perfect gift! Almost too pretty to mess up with bacon grease.
Almost.
Red Envelope has so many ideas for gifts, especially personalized gifts. My favorite! I had a hard time NOT buying something for myself as a "We're Moving to a New House" present. (It's a thing.)
I might still do that. And if I do, I'm definitely taking advantage of these Red Envelope discount codes. You can, too!
Let's hear it for This Little Piggy and his bacon wrapped jalapenos!
I was in no way paid or monetarily compensated to review the above mentioned products. I was simply given the opportunity to try a complimentary product from RedEnvelope.com.

My hubby would love this! Then again, he is a chef! Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteMy site has a lot of unique content I've either created myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my permission. Do you know any techniques to help reduce content from being stolen? I'd definitely appreciate it.
