Hit With a Leibster!

I mentioned last blog post that I was nominated for a Leibster Award from the Pinstriped Penguin.

It's like a get-to-know-ya internet award for new bloggers. It's so nice to be considered by fellow bloggers!

And it's fun to venture out of the ordinary blog post about Pinterest or The Bachelor to talk about myself. Even though I talk about myself all the time.

These are the Rules:

This award is given to new or up and coming bloggers who have less than 200 followers...the award is then passed along to other bloggers in the same category to help spread the word and support one another.

Questions for me!

1. Read any good books lately? Tell us about them.
I don't read a lot, but I do try to read a few books a year. Some years are better than others. So I finished Gone Girl, by Gillian Flynn. I love this author and have read all of her books. It was definitely NOT disappointing. If you're into suspense, mystery, and books that are a little darker than others (darker as in sinister not as in vampire) then Gone Girl might be for you.

2. Do you have any pets?
Yes, I have a fat little dog named Ruby. She's a five year old piglet of a Cockapoo. That's a cocker spaniel-poodle hybrid designer dog.

3. Where was your last vacation?
We had a mini-vacation in a cabin in the mountains the weekend of Thanksgiving.

4. What's your favorite number and why?
My phone number because it's super easy.

5. If you could be any animal what would you be?
A cat because they're snarky and get to sleep and eat all day. And they pretty much rule the house they live in.

6. What is your favorite show of all time?
Ppppsshhh. I have to pick one? Of all time? I'd have to pick Friends because I still quote lines and refer to scenes from old episodes. Jennifer will always be Rachel, Courtney will always be Monica.

7. If you could live anywhere else in the world, where would it be?
Hawaii. I lived there for about 3 years and I could definitely do that again.

8. Favorite guilty pleasure show?
Now we're talkin'. Mob Wives. It's pure trash and I love it.

9. How long have you been blogging for?
Four years.

10. What's something you've learned recently?
I learned that potty training includes regression and I don't like it one little bit.

11. What's your favorite season?
Summer. I'm an Arizona girl so it's summer most of the year here. Summer means barbecue, Mexico trips, the smell of sunscreen, and fun!
